Bonjour - Hello !

Genuine, responsible, affectionate, good-listener, no baggage, knows what he wants, independent, has his life together, well-traveled and self-employed professional. City guy who enjoys being in the country. Adventurous yet calm, a person of principles yet easy going. I strive to be sincere, loyal, caring and environmentally conscious.

My motto: Keep it simple. I lead a grounded yet active life. I'm just as happy going to a concert, restaurant, playing sports, travelling as I am enjoying a little picnic, camping, the outdoors, or just staying home making dinner with wine, cuddling on the couch, play games, watch a movie or baking (I'm no Betty Crocker though :-), etc.... Looking for a mature, available lady with a really good heart & head who is calm yet active. She is not perfect but willing to try to work toward that perfect relationship & has her priorities straight. I admire reliable, caring, unselfish, loyal, committed and sincerely loving people.

Those who make the time & effort to make it a priority develop better relationships. I have my faults like everyone. One of which is that I am a bit hesitant if a woman doesn't make her interest clear to me. I don't enjoy laziness, carelessness, injustice or abuse. I wish I could also say that I am close to my family but I grew up in an environment where genuine listening was not a priority & verbal abuse was more common than not. Something I do not adhere to but unfortunately those are the cards I was dealt.

Love is an emotion. True love is a conscious choice and an action. One must want to love as much, if not more, than to be loved for a LT relationship to succeed. Open & sincere communication, empathy, kindness, appreciation & patience are of the utmost importance in my relationship so as to be able to talk with the intent of understanding each other when differences arise. As is being open to receiving & giving feedback so as to be a better person tomorrow than we were yesterday. Having fun is important but that alone won't get anyone very far in a long-term relationship. Intimacy & the joy of a solid & comfortable relationship capable of enduring the not so fun periods of any life are the real foundations. It's not just about what we 'want' but what we can bring to a relationship, and I know I can bring a lot of happiness, care & love to a righteous & committed woman.

Nothing satisfies me more than holding hands and seeing my partner happy and smiling. Seeing an elderly couple smiling, happy and walking down the street holding hands as if they were in harmony is one of the most beautiful things there is. That is what I aspire to one day, God willing.
Brownie points: if you enjoy exercise & outdoor activities, among others or making my bed (OK forget that one, I can do that myself :-)), and if you like sushi & smoothies then you have a foot in the door.

  • Pour la participation et le dépassement
  • Mes accomplishments sont pour moi et à découvrir, pas pour me vanter. ;-)
  • Plusieurs mais je peux aussi très bien me contenter de la simplicité. Vivre mon quotidien au plein air pour une santé maximal. Le seul but qui devrait compter, c'est d'être heureux, le reste c'est des details.

    Culturel : toujours organisés
  • Le canot camping (lac et rivière) et le touring en bicycle sont mes favoris. En hiver c'est le ski de fonds et la raquette. Des voyages à l"étranger sont aussi des possibilités.
